LUGGAGE

HOME

I happened to see a Pinterest post with personalized luggage. A grandmother had her grandchildren dip their hands in paint and put prints on her luggage. I just took this idea a step further.

I no longer do commissions and will not sell my luggage. I am simply showing it here for inspiration. I chose luggage with a tight grain - not too much texture. Then I used acrylic paint to create my masterpiece. Then I used layers of varnish to protect the image.

My suitcases have been well used, flying to Toronto numerous times and to Victoria; as well as numerous flights to east and west Mexico, Cuba, Dominican and Jamaica. They have also been on all car vacations to Edmonton, Calgary, Moose Jaw and even Turtle Lake.

And, they still look good.

Makes it so much easier to spot at the airport and I don't think that anyone can claim this luggage saying that they "thought" it was theirs.
