When I got some felting kits to try out with my grandchildren I never thought that I would find it so relaxing and so much FUN! 

First I tried some very simple little ladybugs. 

Then moved on to a penguin and tragedy hit; although that little penguin fought a good fight - it lost to our dog. Although he attacks and shakes cushions, Coal had never chewed and destroyed anything before. So a word of caution - do not leave these wool soft sculptures anywhere that an animal can get it.  

I have now completed some little barn owls, chickadees and a variety of other birds.
