SCENIC / FLORAL

This painting is a more detailed version of my first Art Battle piece last December. I had managed to get a less detailed version of this completed in 12 minutes. This is larger and has much more detail. And took considerably more than 12 minutes to complete.

Size: 25 x 33"

$650.

Dad's picked one bouquet of crocus to surprise mom each spring
GRANDMA'S SUGAR BOWL

GRANDMA'S SUGAR BOWL

Each spring (for nearly 80 years) my father would find the first of the crocuses to create a mini bouquet as a surprise - first for his mother when he was a boy, then later for his wife (mom). My grandmother's sugar bowl made the perfect vase. Every time I see a crocus I think of this bouquet.

Painting was a gift to my mom
LANDING STRIP

LANDING STRIP

This is a painting of a photo that I surprised myself with. I did not realize that the bee was there when I took the picture of some of the sunflowers in my garden.
